Document Corruption tool UI

Features

  • Click or drag to upload multiple files: docx / doc / xlsx / xls / pptx / ppt / pdf, up to 100MB each (max 10 in the list).
  • Files are queued with controlled concurrency; rows show Damaging… / Damaged / Failed.
  • Successful outputs are named *_damaged.<ext>; download one from its row or ZIP all successes.
  • Reset clears the queue and returns to the empty upload state.

When to use

  • Creating sample bad files before testing Document Fix or other repair flows.
  • Demonstrating open-failure / transfer-damage scenarios without hand-editing binaries.
  • Batch-damaging several files and keeping only the successes.

How to use

  1. Open Document Corruption.
  2. Click the dashed zone or drop one or more intact documents.
  3. Wait for Damaged / Failed status in the list.
  4. Use the row Download or the bottom-right Download for all successes.
  5. Try Document Fix if you need to recover; click Reset to clear.

Notes

  • Max 100MB per file; unsupported types and macro files are rejected.
  • Processing stays in the browser; ZIP helpers may load from CDN on first use.
  • Damaged outputs usually will not open in Office or PDF readers; do not use on unauthorized files.
  • Encrypted files must be unlocked first; failed rows are kept for review.
