Upscale images with AI entirely in your browser. Uses the Real-ESRGAN general x4v3 model (WASM). After upload you get a comparison workbench with a draggable slider, scale options x1/x1.5/x2/x4, fullscreen preview, and download. Images are never uploaded to any server.
Features
- Local AI: Model ships with the site; IndexedDB cache avoids re-downloading on later visits.
- Auto downscale: Longest side over 1280px is scaled down before AI upscale.
- Compare view: Original on the left, upscaled result on the right; drag the divider to compare.
- Optional post-process: Toolbar toggles for denoise and sharpen refine the AI result (no extra model weights; no re-run of upscale).
- Scale options: x4 is native model output; x1/x1.5/x2 downscale from the 4× result.
- Preview & download: Open full preview when done; export keeps source format; PNG alpha preserved.
- Progress UI: “Loading model…” and “AI upscaling xx%”; friendly toasts on memory errors.

How to Use
- Click or drag one image on the home card (jpg, jpeg, png, webp; max 5MB).
- Wait for model load and AI processing; drag the slider to compare.
- Optional: use Denoise or Sharpen in the toolbar to refine the result (instant refresh; AI upscale is not re-run).
- Pick x1/x1.5/x2/x4, then Preview or Download; Reset returns to upload.
Notes
- Runs locally; open the site over HTTP (not file://).
- Longest side over 1280px is auto-downscaled; file size still capped at 5MB.
- Single image only; no batch mode.
- Tooltip: local AI upscale with real-esrgan-general-x4v3; all processing stays in-browser.
