Upload a video, seek in the fullscreen desk, and export JPG frames at the current playback time—useful for covers, steps, and highlight stills.
Features
- Fullscreen workbench after upload; stage media box fits the video’s real aspect ratio (contain).
- Local capture:
<video>preview +<canvas>JPG output—nothing is uploaded; no native browser controls (bottom Play/Pause). - Bottom bar toggles Play / Extract with play/camera icons: paused or in preview → Play; while playing → Extract (pauses video, no auto preview).
- Toolbar: Reset, speed 0.5×–3.0×, center frame jumps (back 20f/5f/1f and forward 1f/5f/20f), Extract, Download all (ZIP).
- Thumbnail strip: capture many frames; scroll horizontally when the strip overflows.
- Site-wide preview: top-right Delete / Download / Close; left/right Prev / Next; ← / → keys; delete shows a toast and jumps to the next frame.
How to Use
- Open Keyframe Extraction.
- Choose mp4 / webm / mov (recommended) or another playable format — max 100MB.
- Seek with the top frame-jump buttons; adjust speed if needed.
- While playing, click Extract; after each capture click Play to continue.
- Open a thumbnail to preview, navigate with side buttons or keys, delete from the top-right; Download all for a ZIP; Reset clears and returns to upload.
Notes
- Captures the frame at the current playback time, not automatic shot-change detection.
- Frames live in page memory until you download or reset; refresh clears them.
- wmv / mkv / avi work only if the browser can play them.
- Runs locally in the browser—no server upload.
