Features
- Click to place a pin and enter callout text.
- Drag a dashed box to annotate a region; the pin sits at the drag end and the box is kept.
- Restyle via top-bar icon+value controls (size, font color, background); changes apply to the selected note when one is selected.
- Direction controls (Up / Down / Left / Right) stay available; the side you pick becomes the default for the next note. You can also drag the bubble freely; a leader line connects to the pin.

What limitations should I know?
Encrypted PDFs are not supported; the full flow is local with no upload.
When might it fail?
Annotations are drawn into page content (WYSIWYG), not native PDF annotation objects.
What else should I watch for?
Only one annotation can be selected at a time; numbers renumber after delete.
Any other important notes?
For Word / PPT use Word Annotate or PPT Annotate (convert then annotate; export is still PDF; shared editor engine).
